I'll be yours, Sunday.

Spent a recent Sunday parked in my favorite spot off of the 1 in Malibu, listening to Hurry Up, We're Dreaming.

IV Film Festival & Art Showcase

A few photos of my wall at the 2nd Annual Imperial Valley Film Festival & Art Showcase. Big thanks again to Elizabeth and Minerva of the IV Artist Collective for making it look great!

Unfortunately there was a lot of glare everywhere in the photos... these are the better of the batch.

Fear poster

An 11"x17" poster designed for the Imperial Valley Artist Collective's "Fear" exhibition. It's been a while since I created a poster entirely by hand.

Patron Saint of Room 1306

A pencil, watercolor, and Goof Off transfer piece of Leonard Cohen for IV Artist Collective's tribute show to Tom Gilbertson, my art teacher and mentor from Imperial Valley College. In tribute to Tom and his Leonard Cohen collection of music that was played throughout the entire course of my studies there, I figured I'd dub Leonard Cohen the Patron Saint of Room 1306 at Imperial Valley College-- otherwise known as the "Art room."

Borderline Disorder

I had the honor of creating this flier for the newly formed Imperial Valley Artist Collective's first show at Imperial Valley College this month. Needless to say: fun, fun, fun-- not to mention that the show looked amazing in the new gallery. Congratulations, guys!

Rockabye Baby! - The Flaming Lips

Many months ago, I worked on this awesome assignment with the good folks at CMH Records (home of Rockabye Baby!)-- one of the most fun assignments I'd worked on up until that point. After a few rounds of sketches and refining...

a design was finally chosen.

So fast forward to the present day: the album is out now, and I get to work with said good folks on a daily basis on other wonderful Rockabye projects. More material definitely to come as it's released!
